Step three, and the first one where the formula changes rather than just the strength.

AVST 3 moves up to a moderately high concentration of vitamin A as retinyl palmitate, with vitamin C and the same antioxidant lineup as the steps before it. What is new here is Matrixyl 3000, a peptide complex the earlier AVST moisturisers do not contain. So you get the step up in vitamin A plus a genuine addition, which is why most people notice the difference at this rung more than the one before it.

How to use

After cleansing and toning, massage into the face and neck, morning and evening.

Broad-spectrum SPF every morning, without exception. At this concentration of vitamin A it matters more, not less.

Size and shelf life

50 ml (1.69 fl oz) pump dispenser. Eighteen months unopened. Once opened, use within 10 to 12 weeks. Keep it cool, out of direct light and heat, and do not decant it.
